In 2014, Kolding municipality conducted a tender for textile rental and washing. This procurement process included evaluation criteria focused on the human rights due diligence procedures of bidders, and the resulting contract included human rights related contract clauses.
Kolding municipality now has an ethical tender policy which applies to the purchase of goods and services. It requires that suppliers and their sub-contractors comply with human rights related requirements that are based on ILO Core Conventions.
