Guidance on Equality Considerations in Public Procurement

The Equality and Human Rights Commission, Great Britain’s national equality body, has produced a guide for public authorities in England entitled “Buying better outcomes: Mainstreaming equality considerations in procurement.” This guidance document explains how public authorities can ensure they comply with the public sector equality duty (PSED) (set out in the Equality Act 2010) at different stages of the procurement process.
